Our mission is to promote a wonderful place on the world map: Ucayali in Peru. We want to make people aware of how richly cultural the lands of the shipibo people are and how beautiful and wild the Amazon jungle is. We would like to show you what this place is famous for and how unique it is. Join us!
The Place:
Pucallpa 8°23′00″S, 74°33′00″W, is the capital of the Ucayali department, located in the Amazon jungle. This place is the home of the Shipibo people, famous for their traditional handicrafts with unique patterns and shamans who, thanks to nature's medicine, can transport you to another dimension and heal your body and soul.
Our Story:
We first had the opportunity to visit Pucallpa and Ucayali in 2012 and since then we have returned as often as we could. However, it wasn't enough for us and we decided to live here to make people aware of how unique this part of the Amazon is. We were fed up with life on the run, in a big city, and now we live in a place where on one side of the river there is civilization and on the other side there is vastness of wild nature. We want to show the uniqueness of this place and the uniqueness of the people who have lived here for many generations.
